West Virginia Centennial Celebration of the 19th Amendment

Here are a few photos from the Centennial Celebration marking West Virginia’s ratification of the 19th Amendment. One of many activities that day was the presentation and passage of a resolution (SR 42) in the WV Senate commemorating this historic event. Centennial Celebration of the WV Ratification of the 19th Amendment

On Monday, February 17 the state and local Leagues will be participating in the Centennial Celebration Day at the Legislature to mark the ratification of the 19th Amendment. The League and other organizations will host exhibits and provide educational information about women’s suffrage.
